Hey everyone!
Some of you might already know, but for those of you who don't... Arni and I are moving! Arni was presented with a great new opportunity to advance his career with an exciting and challenging new job. He will be working as a Research Scientist for a company who researches small cell lung cancer. That's right my husband will be looking for a cure for cancer! I'll add that to his rocket scientist status! We are, of course, beyond excited for his new job but here's the part that REALLY doesn't suck... the job is in Steamboat Springs, Colorado! So not only do we get to stay in the state we adore, but we get to move to a ski resort town! A town we frequent at least once or twice a year already because we love it there so much. So this is crazy and exciting and rapidly approaching! Arni starts his job May 1st. I am going to stay here in Boulder for a few more weeks to work while I am looking for a new job there. That way we won't feel incredibly rushed to move all our stuff right away and I'll be able to work until my job can find a replacement for me.
I can't believe we are doing this again, starting over in a new town and making a new life for ourselves. This time, I feel, shouldn't be near as hard as it was last. Now we have established friends who will only be about 3 1/2 hrs away, we are more familiar with our state and we know the new town fairly well. Plus once you have made a move as big as we did before, this feels like a cake walk.
We are super excited to share our great new ski town with all of you, either through pictures and blog posts, or hopefully a visit or two from you! We love having guests, and we don't mind being a home base for your ski trip, so come see us!
